The Ministry of Foreign Affairs an Expatriates said, “Preventing Palestinian citizens of the West Bank from reaching Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque to pray there, on Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, is considered a crime against humanity punishable by the Israeli occupation state.”
The Foreign Ministry indicated in a statement issued today, Friday, that “the Israeli occupation authorities have escalated their aggression, restrictions, and repressive measures in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, where they deployed more than 24 military battalions there, imposed a comprehensive siege on it, and severed its ties with partial sieges of all Its regions and towns, deploying more than 750 checkpoints inside it, installing more iron gates, and forcing citizens to take bumpy roads that consume their time and money.
She added, “The occupying state has turned Palestinian life into an unbearable hell. In particular, the occupation authorities have turned Jerusalem into a military barracks and deployed more than 3,000 members of its police and army inside and at the checkpoints leading to it, with the aim of preventing citizens from arriving to pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque on the second Friday of Ramadan.” In a systematic dedication to separating Jerusalem and its sanctities from the West Bank and linking it to the Israeli depth, on the way to deciding the future of the West Bank, including Jerusalem, unilaterally and by the force of occupation.
